Here’s what you should know about 10A hair
If you’re like most people, you’re reading this out of sheer curiosity. You’ve heard that 10A is a grade virgin hair grade but you just don’t know what it means. Unfortunately, many human hair manufacturers and distributors change their grades just to drive up the price, making it even more difficult to make sense of anything.
Human hair has grades, determined by the manufacturers. The grades usually range from 3A to 10A, with 3A being the lower tier and 10A being the highest. 8, 9, and 10 grade are 100% virgin human hair. The products are unprocessed, untreated, and have the highest hair quality possible.
With enough experience, you can differentiate these years by style, curl, wave, and even hair texture. Unfortunately, most people never encounter enough virgin human hair to know the difference. You’ll just have to rely on trustworthy retailers.
Is 10A good hair?
Yes, 10A grade hair is of fantastic quality. It’s currently the highest tier of wig bundle you’ll find anywhere. It’s made with the best that Peruvian and Brazilian hair has to offer. But, 10A is also very rare. It’s so rare that you're more likely to find counterfeit wigs with subpar hair texture. You can expect signs like shedding and fading hair color from the item.
So while 10A grade is great, 8A hair is a safer bet. The hair type is also made of Brazilian hair type, but the authentic bundles are more readily available. We stock 8A Brazilian bundles at our store and you can find the perfect one for you by simply scrolling the page.
Is 10A better than 8A?
With 10A grade hair, the donor took remarkable care, growing it naturally without chemicals. The hair is then prepared for sale using the best processes ever. In theory, 10A grade is better than 8A.
But as we’ve mentioned before, 10A is very difficult to find, and grossly expensive. 8A is a much better option because the virgin hair also meets the standards of quality wig production. 8A virgin hair has an average lifetime of 2 years. With adequate care, you can increase this time while still retaining the hair texture and wave.
If you stick to strict virgin hair care rules, like wrapping your wig before bed and removing it every few weeks, you’ll enjoy your wig for a long time.
